CARE HOME, TRURO

Acting as Receivers for Barclays Banks, Begbies Traynor – the UK’s leading business rescue, recovery and restructuring specialist – instructed ADAPT to carry out a strategic exit review of a former care home in the centre of Truro. The property, previously trading as been a state registered care home accommodating up to 25 older people, was situated in a residential area within walking distance of Truro city centre. We explored a number of options for the site’s future taking into account the opinions of local agents, architects and the planning authority. We provided a report with our recommended exit strategy to assist with the disposal of the property that maximised its potential.
